The Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator is a device designed to expel excess pressure inside the turbocharger as required. A failed or failing Actuator will show some symptoms including engine hesitation, fluctuating boost pressure, and a sharp decrease in engine performance and economy. Most times, a failed actuator will bring on the Check Engine Light too. If you notice anything amiss with the performance of your Jaguar, you should have a competent person check it over, and diagnose and repair any issues.
