Your Jaguar has 2 Crankshaft Oil Seals. They are radial oil seals that allow for the crankshaft to rotate while maintaining a seal to prevent the oil from escaping. Failed or damaged Crankshaft Oil Seals on your Jaguar will leak oil behind the Crank Pulley on the front of the engine or at the rear of the engine, where oil looks to be leaking, where the gearbox and the engine are joined together. Always have any oil leaks on your Jaguar's engine cleaned properly, and inspected by a competent person who can repair the leaks as soon as possible.
