The PCV Valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) - a one-way flow device to relieve the gas pressure in your Jaguar's engine crankcase while it is running and divert the gas into the combustion chamber to be burnt off in a safe manner - better for your engine and for the environment. A faulty PCV Valve will not release the pressure as it should, so the pressurised gases can push past the piston rings, or past the seals in your engine creating oil leaks and more problems.� If you notice poor running of your Jaguar, any oil leaks, or even some yellow sludge under the oil cap, have your Jaguar inspected by a competent person who can correctly diagnose and repair the issues before greater damage is caused.
