The engine in your Jaguar is fitted with an electrical sensor that relays information to the dashboard to alert the driver if the oil level needs attention. If the Low Oil Level warning illuminates, you must stop your Jaguar immediately (as soon as it is safe to do so) and check the level. To continue driving your Jaguar with low oil pressure will cause extensive internal damage to the engine in very short order. If the oil level in your Jaguar is correct, then you may need to replace this sensor. Have a competent person check over your Jaguar to ensure correct diagnosis.
