The High Tension Ignition Leads on your Jaguar deliver the current from the Ignition Coil via the Distributor to the Spark Plugs. Over time the insulation on the cables can deteriorate, and should be replaced. A damaged or failed ignition lead would lead to an inefficient spark at the plug, or no spark at all, reducing the efficiency and performance of your Jaguar. If you notice a misfiring or reduced performance in your Jaguar, have it inspected by a competent person who can investigate and repair the issue.
