The Heater Matrix in your Jaguar works like the radiator, in that air is drawn through it to reduce the temperature of the coolant. This has the effect of warming up the air that the fan draws through it, and the interior Heater Controls draw this warmed air as necessary to warm the cabin. If you notice water or coolant on the floor of the cabin under the dashboard, you may have a leaking Heater Matrix. As with any leaks in your Jaguar, have a competent person check them over to either repair the issue or replace the parts as required.
