Fuel Filters are a service item. Fuel Filters are in-line between the fuel tank and the engine of your Jaguar. The fuel filter catches any loose particles that may be drawn up from the fuel tank and prevents them from getting to the fuel system where they can clog up the fuel lines and injectors, which will cause poor running to your Jaguar and can be expensive to repair. Over time, these particles build up in the fuel filter, and so it must be replaced as per the Jaguar service schedule so the flow of fuel to the engine isn't hampered by blockages, which would cause running issues in itself.
