Your Jaguar XJ has a sophisticated Air Suspension System, tuned to provide superior levels of comfort and refinement to the coil spring setup found in most cars. Instead of a mechanical spring that works in conjunction with shock absorbers, the air spring in your Jaguar XJ is inflated as required by a small air compressor to lift the car and to maintain optimal ride characteristics as you drive along the road.
