The Cylinder Head Gasket in your Jaguar's engine is sandwiched between the engine block and the cylinder head. The cylinder head gasket on your Jaguar has holes in it to allow the flow of engine oil and coolant. A failed cylinder head gasket can show in a variety of ways, and means either a loss of compression in the cylinder bores into the oilway or coolant system, or can allow coolant and oil to mix.
