The Clutch Master Cylinder in your Jaguar acts to apply pressure from the clutch pedal through the hydraulic system to disengage the clutch when required. If your Clutch Master Cylinder is faulty there are a few symptoms your Jaguar may present - the clutch pedal becoming increasingly stiffer to operate, squeaking from the engine bay or behind the dashboard when you operate the clutch, or you completely lose feel in the clutch pedal, and you will not be able to operate the clutch at all. If your Jaguar exhibits any of these symptoms you should have your clutch system inspected to diagnose the fault.
