The Brake Calipers on your Jaguar rely on the sliding pins to be able to move freely to operate. If the Boots and Bushings on your Brake Calipers are compromised or damaged, water and debris can get in, and the pins can corrode and seize into place, which will diminish the performance of your brakes. If your Caliper pins have seized, it would be worth considering replacing these bushings to prevent the same from happening again.
