The seals around the pipework on the Supercharger are there to ensure a tight seal at the mating surfaces, and prevent any leakage of Charge Air. If the seals here are compromised, you will notice performance issues under load, and you may have the Check Engine Light come up on the dashboard. Have your Jaguar inspected by a competent person who has the equipment to investigate leaks in the intake system.
